The locksmith came to change my lock on my front door after it rusted again. I explained my frustration about how often I need this done. The locksmith advised me to install a marine grade lock as I live near the ocean and this is a possible cause. I wasn’t aware these were available so I’m so glad I was advised about using marine grade locks.
