The Whitco Tasman Mk3 is a highly sophisticated security door lock system for screen doors that features a plethora of innovative features that set a new precedent. The ‘DualSelect’ feature makes it easy for occupants to choose two different safety options: Privacy lock and deadlock. Both options are designed for safety and security.

Privacy lock can be engaged by turning the key to the first selection. This locks the door from the outside but allows occupants inside to exit safely. Turning the key again to the second selection engages the deadlock which requires a key to unlock the door from both the outside and inside. Distinguishing from the two is easy as an internal padlock symbol displays when the system is in deadlock mode.

The Whitco Tasman Mk3 security door lock is manufactured for high performance as the system exceeds all the relevant requirements for Australian Standard AS4145.2-2008 to Level S7 and D8. The door lock has also been successfully tested in accordance with Australian Standard AS 5039-2003: Security Screen Doors and Security Window Grilles and AS 5041-2003: Methods of test.
